Windows Update Error Codes English 371 KB
Description:
To check which security patches are missing on the individual clients, the NetInstall Installer uses the Windows Update Agent(WUA) with the current, local offline catalog WSUSSCAN.CAB. In case a problem occurs when using the WUA, the NetInstall Windows Update Proxy (NiWUPrxy) reports this error and the error code is issued in the Installer’s log file. This official Windows Update Error Code list will help you interpret the error code in the Installer’s log file.

Special notes regarding the installation of patch 816093 Security Update for Microsoft Virtual Machine (Virtual VM) English 319 KB

By default, you can install patch 816093 only in a user context because interaction with the desktop is required. If the logged-on user has sufficient permissions the patch project will be installed without difficulty. In case the logged-on user does not have the permissions, the NetInstall Service takes over the installation of the patch project. Here, a timeout occurs because the patch cannot interact with the desktop.
